The package includes a physical exam, followed by laboratory and radiology testing to screen for
Cataracts
Arthritis
Dental disease/Gingivitis
Cancer
Laboratory tests:
Cytology: Microscopic analysis of the cells in your pet's "lumps" to discern malignant from benign masses
CBC and Serum Chemistry Profile: Complete bloodwork to check for problems with red and white blood cells, organ function, etc
T4 level: Thyroid hormone level to check for imbalance (too low is common in dogs; too high in cats)
Urinalysis: microscopic and chemical analysis of urine to screen for kidney problems, stones, or infection
Radiology: Xrays of the chest and abdoment to be sure organs are proper shape and size, free of cancer
The package includes all these services at a discounted rate from a la carte testing.
